Who We Are
Set in Stone Imagery is a family owned business nestled in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Together, Joan & Allan have built a company that prides itself on quality, efficiency, great customer service and has paired this with their elegant and fun product lines. From timeless Crystal or Marble, to our fun Santa and Me line, there are pieces to suit every occaision. While most of the pieces are made at home, you will often find Set in Stone participating in local trade shows and in the Sherwood Park Mall at the holidays.
FAQ
1. What kind of photos do you require for the laser engraving or placing on products?
Our best results come from the best quality photo you can provide. We cannot make a poor photo better.
We can work with either JPEG or TIFF files. Files sizes of less than 1 MG may not be suitable for processes that involve our laser. Most digital cameras will produce a photo suitable in size for laser engraving. Photos from Facebook and your phone are likely not. If you have selected a product that displays your photo in color (mugs, mouse pads or porcelain ornaments), the size of the photo is much less of an issue.
If you provide us with an original photograph, we will scan it and return it to you at the time of order or with your finished product. Older pictures are very suitable for our use.
**Additional charges apply for photos requiring repairs, oversized photos, adding second photos, borders as well as background removals.
2. Are any of your products suitable for outdoor use?
Our process is permanent and our marble products are suitable for outdoor use. Marble and wood are natural materials and have imperfections that add to the uniqueness of your finished product. We will re-do orders only if theseimperfections appear in the faces of the people in your photo.
3. How long does it take to complete my order?
It typically takes between 3-5 days for in-stock items.
4. What forms of payment do you accept?
We can accept major credit cards, paypal and cash.
5. Will you ship items?
Yes, we typically use Canada Post. Orders in Sherwood Park and Edmonton can also be picked up to avoid shipping & handling charges.
